TLC59208F: Will this device timeout when wait time happens during transmit and receive?

Hi Team 

My customer wonders will TLC59208F become timeout when wait time happens during transmit and receive? 

If yes, how TLC59208F will work before and during timeout period?

Please let me know where it is described if this info can be found in datasheet. 

Background to this question : 

When customer used other device with I2C communication, SCL and SDA stayed LOW for a certain time (about 35ms) due to SW processing on master side. 

It caused slave side device became timeout and slave side device reset. 

Customer found out the device have specified for timeout in datasheet after this issue occurred. 

So customer wonders if TLC59208F also have this timeout if wait time happens during transmit and receive.
