TLC59581: output is sample and hold?

Hello Guys,

Good day.

Our customer wanted to know if the output of the TLC59581 is sample and hold? I.e. the output does not change while the neighboring channels are being updated.

A customer of ours is thinking of using the LED matrix driver for a certain application that requires constant output voltage.Would be appreciate if you can inform us of an alternatives if this one does not have the sample and hold feature.

    Hi Mecina,

    Of course, each channel can be controlled separately ON or OFF with this device.

    I am not sure what is the meaning of sample and hold, I guess you want to know if there is no input update, will the output repeat? If so, the output is depended on GSCLK# and VSYNC.

    If GSCLK# is always there, and VSYNC is repeat, the output will repeat following by VSYNC.
