TPS56637: X56637 and T56637 markings are showing different DC output

Part Number: TPS56637

Hi Team,

Our customer purchased two different lots of MPN: TPS56637RPAR. One has DC of 18+ and one has DC of 20+. The 18+ DC has a part marking of X56637 and the 20+ has a part marking of T56637. Please advise what the X is calling out?

They have around 3,000 with the "X" and 2,000 with the T.

X56637 should be the APL samples. I will check the exact status of these X56637 samples.

I didn't understand the meaning of 'One has DC of 18+ and one has DC of 20+'. DC output 18V? Could you explain this more clearly?

Hi Jonathan,

These X56637 samples are APL samples with PG1.0 die. Now our RTM samples are using PG2.0 die. So we don't recommend to use these X56637 samples for production, even for functional checking.

We should advice customer to contact their vendor so as to get RTM samples with T56637 marking.
