Hi,
I need to update through bqStudio 1.3.86, the firmware of some BMS units based on BQ78350-R1, without losing the calibration.
Are there any posibility to export and later import only the "Calibration" data of the data memory? Of course, avoiding to introduce this calibration data manually.
In this way, I could program *.srec file through bqStudio > Firmware > Program; and later import only this calibration data specific for every single BMS.
Otherwise, are there any easiest procedure?
Thanks,
Marco.
Hi Marco,
Can I ask why you need to write the firmware - are you planning to use the BQ78350-R2 firmware? If not, I recommend ordering the BQ78350-R1A device which comes pre-loaded with the latest version of the R1 firmware.
If you need to program an srec while preserving the calibration data, I can send you software to do this. I sent you an E2E connection request. If you accept this and send me a private message, I can send you the link to download this tool.
Best regards,
Matt
Hi Matt,
In fact, I'm using BQ78350-R2 firmware since I started the BMS project.
I need to update the firmware because I've done several changes in the data memory and I need to update it iin some units that are already calibrated. Probably, this situation will occur more times in the future.
I've accepted the E2E connection request.
Thanks Matt,
Marco.
