What is the utlity of R7 (Rgs) - 499K ?

I dont't see any explanation on the application note.

Hi Benjamin,

Rgs provides a ground/discharge path for the charge pump output at ACDRV. Without that resistor, esp for 1S applications with 5V input voltages, there is risk that the charge pump does not shut down correctly and turns on the ACFETs. The Rgs resistor prevents this from happening.
