I plan to use TPS2549Q1EVM-729 to build a demonstration prototype for up to 2.4A phone charging over a long (10-15 feet) cable. I plan to power the evaluation board with an external +5V power convertor. Please confirm that U2 (TPS2549Q1RTE) will function if no power is applied to J3, +5V is applied to the non-J2 side of J4, and GND is applied either to J3 GND pin or J6 GND pin. U1 must not affect 5VDC when it is not powered.
