LMZM33606: Extended duration note for Vin_max

Is there any chance that the note from the LM62460 (note 2 regarding the 42V ABS max) would also apply to the LMZM33606?

Hi Steve,

There is no note in the LMZM33606 datasheet that specifies this so I'd imagine it has not been tested for this time duration. As such I'd refer back to the first footnote in the datasheet.

The datasheet recommends the maximum operating input to be 36V. Anything above that is in the "gray" area which may not have had reliability test performed. As such I'd stick to 36V as this has been tested.

If you aren't operating at maximum 6A, then perhaps you can look at the TPS54541 devices.
