BQ25616: The Battery charger don keep constant current

The BQ25616RTWT cannon keep the constant current, we select 2,98A ILIM with a 160 ohm resistor.

The battery starts charging at 2.67A but the current start decreasing, the current is not constant, the expected behavior should be:

It appears you might be in VINDPM.

What is the VBUS voltage (as close to the IC as possible)?

Or more simply, if you apply a 9V source instead of a 5V do you still see this reduced charge current?

The VBUS 5V@3A, The charger is fixed at 5V

We use a power supply at 9V and the current drops to 1.51 and the behavior is the same the current is not constant.
