Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS62480
Hello,
I was wondering if two LM20136 parts could be paralleled to current share and if so, how do I configure them? (i.e. connect VFB, SS, ENABLE? etc.)

Hello Kimberlee,
We don't recommend this type of set up. Every IC have different feedback regulation voltages which will lead to different regulated output. Those differences will be really small but can lead to one LM20136 regulating more than the other one.
It can also provide an unwanted current path to GND, knowing that the regulated voltages for each IC will be different, you can have one IC in Light load operation and the other IC with its HIGH-side MOSFET on.
I would recommend to use another part. I can help you pick the right device here.
What are the parameters of your system? Input/Output Voltage, Load?
Thank you very much!
Best Regards,
Hello Kimberlee,
Have you considered TPS62480? TPS82480 (module version)?
Do you know why you the current share is important for your system ?
Let me know if you have further questions.
Thanks a lot!
