TPS40090-Q1: can`t use PWM

I use 5v PWM square wave connect to speed pin, but can`t control speed, speed is either very slow or fall speed.

i try to connect DC voltage , like 2.7v and 1.5V, the speed has different. Am i missing something?

What is the part number? It does not appear to be TPS40090.

My mistake, correct part number is DRV10983-Q1, i will post a new one thx.
