TPS543820: Difference in SW pins connection between datasheet and EVM reference board.

Part Number: TPS543820

This device has 2 SW pins in it's package.

In the datasheet pin #10 is for output capacitor connection, pin #13 is for bootstrap connection. In the Schematic design seen in the EVM user guide roles are reversed. Please confirm that the datasheet description is correct.

Thanks,

Yaniv.

  • Hi ,

The datasheet description is correct. The Altium schematic symbol in the files for the EVM originally had these pin numbers swapped and that correction did not make it into the user's guide.

Pin 10 is the large SW node pad so it is meant for conducting power and connecting to the inductor.

Pin 13 is adjacent to the BOOT pin so it is meant for connecting to the BOOT cap.
