TLV62065: Supply Current

Hi Team,

Asking for our customer's power budget. Can you help us on how much input current is consumed by the TLV62065 at 5V input and 3.3V @500mA output conditions? Unfortunately we can't find any input/supply current response on its datasheet.

    Hi Jejomar,

    Thank you for your question.

    You can get a reference value using the efficiency reported on the datasheet (computed using the reference schematic).

    For your working conditions, the efficiency should be around 93%

    Therefore the input current should be around 3,3V * 500mA / (5V * 0,93) =  355mA.
