Is there any other transformer similar to RENCO RLTI-1083 with better lead times?

Hi,

we are building phone charger similar to PMP8817 reference design from TI. 

Can you suggest any other transformer similar to Renco RLTI-1083 that would do the same job?

Consider that only problem that we have with Renco is that lead times for bigger quantities (1000+) is between 8 and 12 weeks.

I appreciate any suggestion :)

    You might try West Coast Magnetics, Loadstone Pacific, Dexter Magnetics, Arnold magnetics, or Coilcraft. I just checked a random AC line flyback transformer -a B0570-BL- made by Coilcraft. It's not a drop for the RTL1-1083, but it's similar. They require up to 7 week lead time. Apparently they can do less than 7 weeks. Maybe you need to offer them an extra premium to expedite the order. I have done this with PCB orders, maybe it works for magnetics too.

    If you can get a distributor to provide you 1000 transformers in 4 weeks or so, you would still have to design a power supply around it. I would be glad to help you modify your design to fit a new transformer.
