About EN pin threshold voltage of TLV717P

Hello.
My customer is currently in use TLV717xxP, I have gotten a question about this product .

So , I have a question about TLV717xxP.

<Question>

For the following description of the data sheet , which definition is correct?

①ELECTRICAL CHARACTERISTICS(p.3):0.9V~VIN

②DESCRIPTIONS(p.4 PIN):. Driving EN over 1.2 V turns on the regulator

  • Hello Masumi,

    The EN pin should be driven with 1.2 V to enable the part (as seen on p. 4), however, the part might start turning on at 0.9 V and, to ensure proper function of the device it should not be driven by a voltage higher than VIN (as seen on p. 3).
