BQ76930: some question about 20S Applications Reference Design(TIDA-01093)

The referenced circuit provides a switched voltage divider so that the MCU can measure the BAT+ voltage when it desires.  When not needed the divider can be switched off to reduce current.

Hi WM5295,

The BQ76930 can measure the  BAT+ voltage, so I think it is not necessary to use MCU to measure. Or, Is there any other purpose that is not same as BQ76930?

The bq76930 report the BAT+ voltage by adding up individual cell voltages instead of making directing measurement with the internal ADC, if customer want better instantaneity, the circuit in the reference design might be help.
