TPS24700: Current Limit Accuracy at Vin=3.3V

Part Number: TPS24700

Hi, team.

Is the current limit threshold precision of TPS24700 also same in 3.3V?

Is the precision related in the voltage?

Best Regards,

  • Hirotsugu,

I see your reason for the question as it isn't specified in the EC table (it is stated as spec'd for +12v).  Figure 7 shows the effect of (Vcc range + temp) on  a typical unit.  The sense amp CM operation is optimized for higher Vcc as you can see +12v and +18v are essentially identical.  But 2.5v is only an additional 1% variance from 12v so performance at 3.3v would be expected to be excellent also.  For margin, assume additional CL tolerance could be as high as +3% at 3.3v vs the 12v specification for 13% total range in the 6 sigma band at Vcc = 3.3v.
