BQ24232: Charging is suspended due to a battery pack temperature fault,

Hello

Customer setting around 60°C on TS pin to monitor battery pack temperature. While over 60°C battery pack temperature, customer indeed find charging suspend. But they would like to know have any pins to monitor status while battery pack over-temperature protection happen and charging suspend now. They can not know status while battery pack over-temperature.Thank you.

Hello Patrick,
Does the customer have access to an ADC on their circuit? Measuring the TS pin is one way. If there isn't an ADC, they can add external comparators with similar reference voltage to the internal TS threshold voltages. This can say when outside the allowable range.

The BQ24232 doesn't have a pin to show when the device suspends charging due to the NTC over temperature.
