Part Number: REF5025

Hello,

May you please give me an reference of ESR Resitor to put in serie with the capacitor.

Thanks in advance,

Best Regards,

Mr Ghiotti

  • Hi Ludovic,

The ESR resistor can vary from design to design. The recommended ESR on the output capacitor is from 1 Ω to 1.5 Ω.
    In the design below:
    www.ti.com/.../TIDA-01040
The ESR resistor they use is:
    R134 1.00 RES, 1.00, 1%, 0.1 W, AEC-Q200 Grade 0, 0603 0603 CRCW06031R00FKEA Vishay-Dale

You can look at other designs for additional examples.
