Hi,

As with the X5777BXGABC DEMO board design, the TPS51200 is used to power the DDR, and the EN pin of the TPS51200 is connected to the GPIO pin of the SOC.

We want to know in which scenarios, Soc needs to shut down the TPS51200 ?

Hi Xiaoyu,

This is a system question. TPS51200 output (VTT voltage) follows half of VDDQ.
That's mean TPS51200 should turns off when VDDQ is off.

Hi Qina,

As with the X5777BXGABC DEMO board design, VDDQ is used to power DDRS_DDR of DDR chip and SOC chip.

I want to know, if the DDR is not powered, how can the SOC control the EN pin of the TPS51200?

Hi Xiaoyu,

One method is add a resistor like 10k ohm between TPS51200 EN pin and ground.
When DDR is not powered, EN pin is pulled low by 10k ohm.
When DDR is powered, EN pin is controlled by SOC chip.
