My customer is wondering what does the "Minimum Switching Current 200 mA" means on the first page of datasheet.

On the application section as below, we could apply Io from 100uA to 50mA.

Hi James:

The peak current could be calculated by "11.2.2.2" in datasheet. And the spec listed in the "8.5 Electrical Characteristics" has the "min, typ, max" value.

May you share some details spec,then can I help to check if it's suitable for you. How about the Vin, Vout, and load condition? Is it loading during the startup?

Hi Minqiu,

Vin=1.5V~3.0V, Vout=3.3V/350mA

If the input is a battery, what could we do to avoid the input reverse?

I think adding a load switch could be a idea, do you have other thoughts?

Hi James:

A diode could works. If high efficiency and low Vin is needed, you could choose the ideal diode like LM66100.
