BQ24725AEVM-710: ACOK pin abnormal behavior

Part Number: BQ24725AEVM-710

Hi,

I test our EVM with R14, R15 unsoldered.

page 18 of the doc below:

And then I connect 2.6V from DC source directly to ACDET pin. And find that ACOK is low, which means that the device doesn't consider AC is okay.

I've connect 18.9V to DCIN, no battery connected to BAT, and measured VCC=18.9V, SRN=3.3V, ACDET=2.6V. REGN=6.23V.

According to the datasheet, ACOK should be high, but I measured ACOK=0.02V. Thus power source is not connected to VSYS.

If I solder R14, R15, connect 18.9V to DCIN, ACDET=2.52V, ACOK=3.3V, VSYS=DCIN.

Why floating ACDET and connect it to a DC voltage like 2.6V could cause such behavior?
