Hi,

i would like to know the meaning of this statement. I need bit more clarity on source and sink current.

"This procedure outlines the steps to design a 600-V high-side, low-side gate driver with 1.8-A source and 2.8-A sink current capability,".

Please help me in understanding this

    Thank you for the interest in the UCC27712. The UCC27712 driver outputs are capable of providing 1.8A source current to charge the MOSFET Qg on the rising edge of the Vgs signal and 2.8A sink current to discharge the MOSFET Qg on the Vgs signal falling edge. The datasheet parameters are specified with a VDD voltage of 15V.
