TPS54335A: skip mode (again)

Hello

The starting point enter/exit DCM to pulse skipping is different from device to device

even though same board?

I tested at 24Vin/3.3Vout/ inductor=15uH ( TPS54335A evm)

and result is Io=90mA. ( inductor peak=360mA)

But according to customer, their result using EVM was 200mA to enter/exit pulse skip mode. ( x2 times different)

How do you think?

Please advise.

Hi,

The current of enter/exit skip mode is related to the inductor, the inductance is not the same for different inductors, there may be 20% error.

And for the IC, because of the process, there is a little difference for different ICs.
