Hello

I want to update my BMS project and replace the component BQ76PL536-Q1 for BQ76PL536A-Q1.

It seems that the pinout doesn't change between two versions.

In other hand, I think that the main difference is that the reference BQ76PL536A-Q1 have passed the certification AEC-Q100.

¿There are more important differences between this two version of product?

    Hi Juan,

    Yes, we recommend for designs to move to bq76pl536a-q1 as this is pin and function compatible but offers better adc/communications performance and noise immunity.

    Also if you are interested in replacing to an entirely new IC, please look into the bq79606A-Q1 device with increased performance/functionality in many areas for automotive applications.
