BQ21061: won't recognize device

I ve looked up the schematic as I can see there are no data lines on the usb, only for power, Can someone confirm this?

I saw it, thought it was communicating over USB. I will soon get one ev2400.

Now I m using a MCU  to communicate with the device, I can read and write communication is ok.

 But the device won't charge, I put a battery on the Vbat pin, and 5V adapter on Vin and I disconected the jumper 13 (CE pin), should it automaticly charge?

The STAT0 register is always 0x01 and STAT1 0x00 ,STAT2 0x00

TS pin is 0 V

Vin 5 V

Vbat 3.8 V

Vpmid 4.5 V

TS pin should not be 0V. Check to make sure the TS pin is connected to the potentiometer using the J5 jumper

I have checked the J5 is connected i have some minor changes on this pin from 0v- 0.1V.

I ve got the ev2400. Here are the registers

can you turn the potentiometer on TS and ensure you measure 0.5V on TS

I have turned the potentiometer on TS but the maximum is 0.18 V it won't go higher.

I have discharged the battery to 3V and it seems the device is charging, but having another problem when it gets to 3.8V the charging is being very, very slow.

And is there anyway to know that the device is charging or done with the charging in the registers?

here are the register dumps. Last night I let the device to charge Vbat was 3.111 V after 6 hours it charged to 3.236 V and  stoped , I have rotated the potentiometar but it will not go above 200mV, and the voltage on the Ts pin is not stable.

EDIT: I m confused know. If I change the ICHG_CTRL to 300mA register for faster charging, the VBAT voltage immediately jumps to 4.2 on my scope and after a while it sets the flag charge done in the FLAG register. But if I disconnect the battery from the device I measure 3.7 V not even close to 4.2V.

The current source on TS is pulsed so you'll need an oscilloscope to measure the actual TS voltage. A multimeter will give you an average value.

I'm still having issues it is charging but very very slow for a 50mAH baterry I need over 3 Hours. I have some questions!

1. Does the fast charge current depends on the battery (I have 50mAH 1C baterry, I calculate the charging current to 50mA(1C) so I set the charge current step to 2.5 and fast charge to 50mA in the reg ICHG_CTRL and disabled the TS) can I go over 50 mA, because If I increase the fast charge to 100mA or more on the VBat pin the voltage immediately goes to 4.2V and the Stat0 registers says it is in CV mode. Is this a normal behavior?

2.What parameters need to be satisfied for jeita (enable TS enable and set custom jeita in CHARGECTRL0, set TSFASTCHARGECTRL and set TS_COLD,COOL,WARM,HOT)?
