TPS3702: Transient performance of TPS3702

Part Number: TPS3702

Hi All,

Can you please let me know what is the transient performance of the IC, In the sense what is the minimum glitch width at the input that can be detected? I have explained my question in the image.

  • Nishanth,

We have a section on our glitch immunity detailed here on the datasheet:

Let me know if you need further clarification.

    Thanks,
    Abhinav.

  • Hi Abhinav,

Thanks for your reply, but i still couldn't find a plot for minimum pulse width vs overdrive voltage. the plot has propagation delay vs overdrive. I need minimum pulse width vs overdrive. please let me know if there is any mistake in my understanding

  • Nishanth,

Please see figure 8 to figure 11. Please note that under the curve states if the figure is SENSE low-to-high or high-to-low. Minimum pulse width is the same spec as a "low to high" SENSE transition for overvoltage, and a "high to low" SENSE transition for undervoltage. These are defined as a propagation delay and if the propagation delay does not expire then the pulse was not detected meaning the minimum pulse was not met.

Let me know if the understanding is clear.
