TPS563201: VFB_resistance

Part Number: TPS563201

Hi Team,

we design output voltage is 1.19v, using R1 = 56K, R2 = 100K, can be use this value? are there any risk? because we see that the higher resistance mentioned in the datasheet will have this problem?

is there recommend maximum range?

  • Tommy,

The values you selected are ok to use, but as mentioned in the second section of 8.2.2.1, high resistance will more susceptible to noise then may cause VFB interfered,  commonly the resistor to GND(R2) is recommended with around 10K~20k level to prevent this happen. then define R1 value based on R2.

If no especial reason, recommend to follow the table for the design.
