TPS3808: Dashes above and below AVO

Part Number: TPS3808

My name is Rene Grandmaison. I work at Rochester Electronics and we are an authorized distributor TI parts. One of the parts we sold is the TPS3808G33DBVT which is labeled AVO. But it also has a Vertical line to the left and dashes above and below the AVO. Our customers' boards have failed and they’re looking to understand why only these parts, that have the markings, are failing? Can you possibly point me in a direction to understand what might be happening? An explanation of the marking dashes themselves?

Hi Rene,

Are all the units top marked 'AVO' and the failing units only have line marking distinctions? Is this the case or the failing units are marked AVO?

All units are marked with AVO (Good and Bad). Only the failed units have the line marking distinctions..

Good afternoon. Still looking for some help on these Dashes. I also have another one if you can help as well. More importantly, if there is a some type of reference doc I can use to decipher these numbers that would be helpful. I've been using IHS but coming up empty..
