If the SHDN feature is not required, should the pin be left floating?

 
Additionally, please take a look if the schematic looks alright:

    Thanks for reaching out!

    SHDN pin can be left OPEN, if unused. The schematic looks good. If the output (VDC_IN) goes to an external board involving cables and inductance, please add schottky diode as per the EVM schematic.
