Hi Team,
in TPS62823 datasheet, we shows the Iq is 6-10uA with EN=High, IOUT=0A, device not switching. Do we have Iq with EN=High, IOUT=0A, device switching? It will be more valuable to know the actual Iq in system.

Hi,
Thank you for the feedback.
My understanding is that when Iout-0A, the device will not be switching only the control circuits will be ON. This is the condition to measure quiescent current.
What exactly would you like to measure?

Hi Febin,
thanks for reply.
I mean the Iq when TPS62823 is in a real system which has normal input voltage like 5V and enable is high. But there is no load on the output.
Hi Liu,
In this case you may very well consider the Iq given in the datasheet.

Hi Febin,
in our test, the iq with EN=High, IOUT=0A, device switching in real system is above 200uA. Is that normal?
Hi Liu,
What do you consider as Iq in your measurements? What exactly is the measurement setup? If possible please share some pictures of the setup.
Please share the schematic, measurement conditions and the probing points.

Febin
