LM5036: LM5036 for Push-Pull

Part Number: LM5036
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5030, LM25037

Hi,

Can LM5036 used in Push-Pull? Has any reference design?Thaks.

Regards

  • Hi Rock!

Thanks for getting in touch and for your interest in the LM5036! The LM5036 may be usable in a push-pull topology but it is heavily designed with a half-bridge topology in mind. For some star push-pull converter controllers, check out the LM25037 and the LM5030.

Thanks again for reaching out, I hope this information helps!

  • Hi Aidan

    Thank you.

The reason why I asked whether LM5036 can be used in push-pull is that my customer wants to use an IC with a synchronous rectification signal,

which can be used in some cases where high efficiency required.

I survey the LM25037 and the LM5030, there only primary side PWM signal bus has no synchronous rectification signal.

Are there any synchronous rectifier ICs that can be used with these two ICs? Thanks.

    Regards

    Rock
