TPS3850: Need supervisor like TPS3850H18 but with 5s reset delay (reset asserted time)

Are there any supervisor devices similar to the TPS3850 that can support a 5 second reset delay?

    Hi Jim,

    We have voltage supervisors that can support reset delay up to 5s, such as the TPS3890. This device, however, does not have a window watchdog. If a window watchdog is required, you can use the TPS3890 in addition with the standalone TPS3430.

    What are the watchdog requirements?

    The customer hasn't stated requirements, but is currently using the MAX16058ATA17. We're trying to find a suitable substitute.

    Hi Jim,

    So looking at the MAX device, it seems that they can theoretically support a large delay like 5s, but we rarely see requirements for that long delay. Even in their graph for reset delay vs capacitance, the maximum they show is about 2s. I think we should keep the TPS3851-Q1 as the correct cross for that device, unless they need extremely high reset time delay.

    Note: I chose the TPS3851-Q1 instead of the TPS3850-Q1 because the MAX16058 device is a standard watchdog rather than a window watchdog.
