Hello,
we use the bq28z610-r1 fuel gauge in one of our products and take at the moment some steps towards production.
This question came up while doing so:
Based on the fuel gauge datasheet the NTC pullup has a a high tolerance (14.4 ... 21.6 kR) and therefor the temperature accuracy as well. To get a better temperatur accuracy we will carry out a temperature calibration for the "golden image".
The question now is:
- is this good enough for every fuel gauge which get the "golden image" (= one time temperature calibration)
- or -
- do we have to recalibrate each fuel gauge - in terms of temperature (= multiple time temperature calibration)
Best regards
