TPS1H200A-Q1: Current limit accuracy at 0,1A?

Part Number: TPS1H200A-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS1H000-Q1

Hello,

I have a technical question about TPS1H200A-Q1 smart high-side switch. On page 7 in datasheet external current limit accuracy is specified. Accuracy is specified when current limit is 0,25A or greater. What if the current limit is lower? In my case 0,1A is desired value. What would the accuracy be in that case?

Couldn't find that anywhere in the documentation.

Thanks

Jorgen

  • Hi Jorgen,

The lower the current limit the lower accuracy the device would be able to produce. For the TPS1H200A the minimum recommended current limit is 0.25A, any value below this current limit would not be recommended since the accuracy would be affected.

We have another device available that can do lower current limit accuracy TPS1H000-Q1. This device can do as low as 50mA with an accuracy of <(+-)25% and has Ron = 1ohm.
