Hi,
I can't find any tool/excel to adjust the output on my design.
Do you have ExcelCalculator or any Tool for TPS546D24?? Thanks.

Hi Rice,
We are looking into this and will feedback to you soon.
Thanks,

For new designs, I would recommend using the TPS546D24A instead of the TPS546D24.
The TPS546D24A is pin for pin and PMBus compatible with the TPS546D24, but uses different programming resistors from the TPS546D24. The TPS546D24A has a design tool linked to it's product folder it can be found at:
Hi Peter
Could you provide the TPS546D24 setting guide for VSEL, MSEP1, MSEL2 and ADRSEL?
By the way, we used TPS546D24 because it's on Broadcom PHY BCM81358 AVS power support list.
Is there any risk if we change to TPS546D24A?
Thanks,
Rice
Hi Rice
The datasheet has the description on how to chose the VSEL, MSEL1, MSEL2 and ADRSEL and you can use the excel tool to help you select the resistors based on the design options you need.
There is difference in the pin strap resistor setting between the TPS546D24A and TPS546D24.
We recommend using the TPS546D24A for the newer designs.
Regards,
Gerold
No, there is no risk to changing to the TPS546D24A, it is able to support all of the applications that the TPS546D24 is able to support. It has all of the functionality of TPS546D24, but uses different pin-strap resistors to select the same initial settings.
Hi Gerold
I do see description on how to chose the VSEL, MSEL1, MSEL2 and ADRSEL in datasheet and excel tool for TPS546D24A
But I can't find these for TPS546D24, can you help to check? Thanks.
Rice
For new designs, please use the TPS546D24A. It is pin to pin compatible and the functional equivalent to the TPS546D24, it adds some new PMBus features, but it uses different schematic resistors for programming initial boot-up values for PMBuis commands.
