I have few questions regarding the BQ27510-G3 Battery Learning cycle.
1) After battery is completely drained, the RUP_DIS bit is cleared and indicates that it is right time to initiate the learning cycle. If this bit is cleared before the 5 hour relaxation time, say in 4 hours it is cleared, shall we start the learning?
2) Is there any delay required to initiate / hit the IT enable after the battery discharged and relax done button is clicked?
3) I am using desktop supply with 4.2V, 300mA setting to charge the battery of 3.7V, 720mA to have fast charging C/2. I believe that after battery reached 4.2V, the charging becomes CV profile. Is that my CC/CV charging profile fine?
4) Though the FC is set as the average current is below taper current and is above quit current for more than half an hour. I consider this as charging the battery and waiting till the average current reaches to zero. This leads increase in the remaining capacity to maximum. As per the TI guidance, FC bit is set and average current is below taper current more than consecutive 40 sec is enough condition. Shall I stop charging as per TI guide or should follow what I am doing now?
5) Is it okay to proceed when VOK bit is cleared after the FC is detected or should wait till 2 hour relaxation to complete? Few times, I can see that after 2 hour, the FC bit is cleared which stops the learning.
6) After complete discharge, the battery is left to relax. VOK is cleared in 3 hours. Should I wait for 2 more hour or can complete the learning as the indication happens?
Thanks,
Rajesh
