TLV713P: Zero Output when ENABLE is disabled?

Part Number: TLV713P
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLV713

Hello,

I have a question regarding TLV71318PDBVR: Is this the version that leads to zero output when enabled is disabled? if it is not so which is the complete PN that implements it?

Many Thanks,

Antonio

  • Hi Antonio,

It is important to note that when disabled, both the TLV713 and TLV713P will turn off the pass element.  As long as the output rail is not being powered by another source, the output capacitors will discharge through the load.  The TLV713P versions also include an internal discharge path which will help discharge the output capacitors.  This path is active when the EN pin is logic low.

The Device Nomenclature section can be used to understand the orderable device names.  Your orderable will be a 1.8 V output with the active discharge circuitry in the DBV package.

    Very Respectfully,

    Ryan
