TPS61023: SW and GND pin shorted

Hi Team,

I have used TPS61023 in my design. Circuit worked for one day and after that IC got internal damage between SW and GND pin & also sometimes it's booting continuously

I have attached schematic and layout for your reference

Please help me in resolving the issues

Hi,

the layout is quite bad. I thinks this is the root cause leading to the damage. please refer to the suggest in the datasheet to modify the layout.

I referred datasheet while designing

Can you please tell me where should I make changes in the layout and also tell me if my circuit is correct

please refer to https://www.ti.com/lit/an/slva773/slva773.pdf to change the PCB. The circuit is OK.
