TLV431A-Q1: FIT Rate / Failure Mode and Failure Mode Distribution (FMD)

The TLV431A-Q1 does not yet have these documents. TI's functional safety portal (www.ti.com/.../overview.html( has this guidance under the FAQ:

Power consumption of the TLV431 would be the Vka * Ika. The exact values of those 2 components depend on the configuration. When the load is not consuming it, that load current would "shunt" through the TLV431 so the max Ika would be the max possible load current (when there is no load - all of it goes to the TLV431). If Cathode and Ref are tied together then Vka would be ~1.25V (reference voltage). If used in comparator mode, the Vka would depend on the other components in the design. If you can share your intended configuration around the TLV431, we can be more specific. Until then, hope the above general guidelines help.
