Hi Team,

I'm developing lead battery and supercapacitor charging device based on LM5176.

9-15V VIN ….. 0-15V 9A OUT CCM - mode; DITHERING - disable; NO BIAS supply; Frequency 250 KHz.

I need to charge 2 kinds of lead batteries: - 30Ah and 90Ah by the same device.

Is it possible to change average current limit at one moment?

Or the only one way is to change current sense resistor?

Hi Andrey,

To dynamically change the output current limit an external current sense amplifier, voltage reference and a few resistors are needed. If that works for your application I will send the schematic over to you.

How much do you need to shift the current limit?
