LM5050-1: How to select the Schottky diode for input protection for LM5050

Hi team,

My customer wish to add Schottky diode for input transient protection as suggested in the datasheet, but do we have any design guide to help customer chose the Schottky diode? i.e. voltage and current rating for the Schottky.

In their application, the bus voltage is 12V and the peak current is 120A.

Please suggest a suitable Schottky diode P/N if possible.

SS16T3G is 1A rated 60V schottky diode for 15A application.
For 12V, 120A application, 60V rated schottky diode is good, however current rating is dependent on the input parasitic inductance as indicated in the datasheet.
If there is a lot of inductance expected in the application, a 4A rated 60V schottky diode is good.
