Hello Expert,

My customer is designing schematics for AM62D-Q1.
Then, they want to know about suggested power supply for VPP.

I had same discussion for AM62P and I heard that we shouldn't use load switch.
Then, from the view point for cost, we are generally use LDO.

For my understanding of VPP pin status requirement during we don't use this, pin status should be floating.
I found some thread as below which is discussing about recommended LDO for VPP but suggested device has internal pull-down for output discharge.

Then, could you please answer following question?

  1. What is the required status(Hi-z or pulled-down) when we don't use VPP pin?
  2. Could we use LDO which have internal discharge resistor during EN=off?
  3. What is the suggested LDO for VPP power supply?
