AM3352: Boot from SPI micro SD card

Part Number: AM3352

We'd like to use SPI interface to connect to micro SD card because wire can be reduced. (A draft idea image is as follows.)

Please let me confirm.
Can AM3352 boot from SPI micro SD card, and can Linux kernel start ?

According to 26.1.8.6 SPI in technical reference manual, SPL should be placed at sector1, sector2, sector3, and sector4 respectively.
This is similar to 26.1.8.5.5 "MMC/SD Read Sector Procedure in Raw Mode".
If I created a micro SD card for booting TMDSSK3358 or beaglebone, can I use the same micro SD card for SPI boot ?
If no, could you teach me how to create micro SD card for SPI boot ?
