TDA4VM: PCIe communication under QNX

Hi team,

A customer intends to do PCIe communication between the TDA4VM chip and another chip under a QNX system based on a linux system, and the customer would like to know if there is a sample code on the QNX side.

Could you help check this case? Thanks!

Hi Cherry,

PCIe communication from TDA4VM to TDA4VM is supported. To enablie this functionality a PCIe driver from QNX is required.

Please contact QNX Software Systems for further information on availability of the PCIe driver.

The customer also would like to know is it possible to provide the drivers under linux, they needs to know more about the register configuration of the PCIe this section.

The linux PCIe driver is provided as part of the PSDK Linux release available at PROCESSOR-SDK-J721E Software development kit (SDK) | TI.com.

The SDK 8.0 documentation contains the following sections related to PCIe

3.2.2.10. PCIe End Point — Processor SDK Linux for J721e Documentation

3.2.2.11. PCIe Backplane — Processor SDK Linux for J721e Documentation

3.2.2.12. PCIe Root Complex — Processor SDK Linux for J721e Documentation

Yes, the DRA821 PCIe framework for DRA821 is a QNX/Blackberry deliverable.
