Not able to download the image into the flash?

Following the link:

I have boooted the board to the u-boot using the SD card.

Hi Viswa,

Please check your network connection. tftp on u-boot is tried and tested on J721e. If you have SD card working
then you can download them from SD card instead of tftp.

fatload mmc 1 ${loadaddr} tiboot3.bin

a. How to differentiate from where to board like emmc/SD card/ flash?

b. Can you share the Switch setting to boot from the emmc/flash?

How the ketrel image and the DTB are copied to to the OSPI?

Kernel Image and DT are expected to be present in the /boot folder of UBIFS ospi.rootfs just like in SD card case. U-Boot looks for UBI volume named “rootfs” for rootfs.

To boot kernel from OSPI, at the U-Boot prompt:

I have successfully build the rootfs. Pls proide me the steps to create the UBIFS image for the J721e. Do you have any update on how to kernel image and rootfs ie uBFS image in the ospi?

Hi Viswa,

Booting a UBIFS is not officially supported. Please take a look at the e2e thread linked below - this has steps which can be used to boot a UBIFS. Note, this is only for reference as the e2e refers an older release and this is not tested recently.
