Our customer plans to develop their next generation system with AM3356, and they noticed Processor-Linux-SDK (v. 07.03.00.005: Kernel 5.4) was released. Previously, TI experts mentioned It looks like Linux kernel 5.6 and later should allow 32 bit systems to run past 2038. Therefore, we believe this Processor Linux SDK (v7.03) still has this issue because this Kernel version is v5.4). However, just to be sure, our customer is asking if TI has a plan to release the patch for this issue or not again. And then, if so, customer would like to know rough schedule for this work.
Can I have your experts advice/comments on this inquiry, please?
