AM4372: Which is an initial value of MODE of some pins at AM437x ?

Guru 10085 points
Part Number: AM4372

Hi Support Team,

Regarding the following post, is it correct to say that TRM is a typo and the datasheet is correct?
https://e2e.ti.com/support/processors-group/processors/f/processors-forum/391314/which-is-an-initial-value-of-mode-of-some-pins-at-am437x/1394507

The TRM error has not been corrected yet, is there any plan to correct it?

Best regards,
Kanae

  • Hi Support Team,

I am hoping to get a response to the above post.
Or please let us know when you plan to respond
as it needs to be reported to my customer.

    Best regards,
    Kanae

  • The post you refer to has the correct info.  The datasheet shows the reset release state of the pin, but it is possible the ROM will change these if the pin is used during boot.  The TRM was not changed because of the variability of the setting depending on the ROM.  The Init chapter shows how the pin mux registers are set per boot mode.

    James

  • Hi James,

    Thank you for your support!

I could find the information in the Init chapter.
