TMDSEVM572X: JTAG Error -267 The controller could not detect valid target supply with XDS110

TMDSEVM572X: Error connecting to the target: (Error -2131 @ 0x0) Unable to access device register.

Hi,

Am using XDS110 emulator to connect to my target GPEVM AM572x , at first i faced some trouble in connecting to the target board later with the help of ti forums made connection by following the steps:

1) Power on the board
2) Launch the target configuration
3) Press reset button on GPEVM board
4) Connect to the target within 7 seconds

By following the above steps gel initialization was done and i was connected to the A15 core and able to run my basic 'hello world' program. But later after sometime the emulator throwing the error saying 

"Error connecting to the target: (Error -2131 @ 0x0) Unable to access device register. Reset the device, and retry the operation. If error persists, confirm configuration, power-cycle the board, and/or try more reliable JTAG settings (e.g. lower TCLK). (Emulation package 7.0.100.0)"

which i couldn't understand and i didn't change anything from the previous. I tried different cases by changing the TCLK frequency but nothing solves the above mentioned error. Kind of am lost here and don't know what to change/test further. Please guide me to resolve this error.

    Hi Parth,

    At the very beginning when trying to make target connection to the A15_0 core this error shows up on the console.

    We don't have any idea on what triggers that error, I've done my investigation but didn't find anything. That emulator XDS110 is also working fine, we've checked it on other boards. Help me to overcome this roadblock.

    You are telling that you are able to run sample program without any issues. Then at what point the error is coming?

    You are able to connect to target and run the program right?

    Hi Parth,

    After successful attempt in achieving connection, we turned off the board and repeated the same procedure for to attain connection just for our better understanding, then this error occur, But it turns out that JTAG has some hardware problem , my bad, that's why we've couldn't able to attain connection for the second time, there is no software or configuration issue at all.
