DRA821U: DMSC and WKUP_UART Usage

I'm working with a customer that is considering using the WKUP_UART as their (backup) boot device, as opposed to the MCU_UART. More background in these answered E2E questions:

It looks like the DMSC can (optionally?) use WKUP_UART to print logs. That leads to a few questions:

If printing DMSC logs on WKUP_UART is optional, how is this disabled/enabled?
If the DMSC logging to WKUP_UART is disabled, can WKUP_UART be used as a boot device and/or by the user application without later interference from the DMSC?

Hi Stuart,

I guess, by default DMSC logs are disabled. So it should not create any issue while for your use case.

Please refer to FAQ to e2e.ti.com/.../faq-system-firmware-calls-have-failed-or-crashed-what-do-i-do for details on enabling the DMSC trace.

Yes, once it is disabled, it won't interfere.
