Hi TI

There's a reuqest that Customer should fix the problem ASAP.

Can you please check if the issue is identical with TDA4VM? then give us the HotFix to solve the problem.

One of the four ports of the CPSW5G is in use as 100Mbase-T1, but if you ping PC->DRA821U board or DRA821U board->PC, you can see that the packet is lost as shown below.

In addition, when sending a 64byte 100% packet to the instrument on a 100M port, it sends a 99.95% transfer rate, resulting in FCS and Undersize Errors and Packet Loss.

Similar debug is on-going with the below thread. Could you also check statistics and ALE table entries?

Could you please share the scripts to get CPSW statistics and ALE table entries for DRA821?

It seems the scripts included in e2e you mentioned are worked only for DRA829.

Anyway, my customer tried to get CPSW statistics as below, but could not dump ALE table entries as the script was worked only for DRA829.

Please check below logs from Customer and share new script to get ALE table for DRA821.

* measurement using equipment(smartbit) including normal log and error log.

We typically dump the ALE in CCS via JTAG.

Hi,

There is a program at the end of this FAQ to dump the ALE entries. Apart from this, running "ethtool -t $IF_NAME" command from linux prompt will print the ALE entries, Policer entries and CPSW statistics.

Apart from this, what Stanley mentioned can also be used.

Are you using a marvell phy for the 100M link?

Yes. As Jack(Arrow Korea) mentioned, there is no packet loss issue at 1GBps, but packet loss observed only at 100Mbps.

Yes. it is Marvell PHY.

Their Ethernet PHY is Marvell 88Q1111.
